As an ADC Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and verification of high-performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuits. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to deliver innovative solutions for our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance ADC circuits, including Nyquist rateADCs, oversampling ADCs, and pipeline ADCs.
- Perform circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools to optimize performance and meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ADC designs into system-level solutions.
- Conduct thorough verification and testing of ADC designs to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ADC technology and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of new ADC design methodologies and techniques.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (or a related field) or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in analog circuit design with a strong focus on ADC design.
- Proficiency in analog circuit simulation tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre) and schematic capture tools.
- Solid understanding of analog circuit fundamentals, including noise analysis, distortion analysis, and feedback techniques.
- Experience in high-speed ADC design, including Nyquist rate ADCs, oversampling ADCs, and pipeline ADCs.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal design methodologies and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
